Grand Teton National Park (Jackson Hole), Wyoming
Towering more than a mile above the valley known as Jackson Hole, the Grand Teton rises to 13,770 feet above sea level. Grand Teton National Park and the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway offer a variety of activities such as traditional mountain hiking, wildlife viewing, photography, climbing, swimming, boating, floating, canoeing, fishing, and biking. In addition to grand mountain vistas, the Tetons host some of the best wildlife hideouts from birds to bison.
This area has superior wildlife viewing opportunities, especially early or late in the day. Expect to see a variety of waterfowl, moose, deer, elk, bison, and birds of all kinds. There is also unique shopping, excellent dining, and luxurious spa experiences to be had here.
PARK ENTRY FEES: $35 per private vehicle; $30 for a motorcycle; or $20 for each visitor 16 years and older entering by foot, bicycle, ski, etc. These fees provide the visitor with a 7-day entrance permit for Grand Teton National Park and the John D. The Wort Hotel

Additional hotel amenities include jacuzzis and a fitness center. When it's time to eat, take a step back in time at The Wort Hotel's famous Silver Dollar Bar & Grill. Enjoy elevated Western cuisine in an intimate setting with an extensive wine list as well as a family-friendly "Little Buckaroos" Menu. The Silver Dollar Bar features streetside windows that are perfect for people watching and a great menu of signature items like burgers and elk gyros, plus a large wine list and unique cocktails. The Silver Dollar Showroom is Jackson's premier downtown music venue, inside The Silver Dollar Bar featuring local and regional bands.
Spacious guest rooms are appointed with custom-designed Western furnishings, goose down comforters and fine linens, executive refrigerators, original artwork and décor, lavish bathrobes, clock radios with MP3 connections, plush “Silver Dollar Sam” teddy bears and signature yellow rose. The Wort Hotel also makes a convenient home base for exploring Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks and is only 10 miles from the Jackson Hole Airport (JAC).
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is designed for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and all other medical care providers who must maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of the critical care specialty or are impacted by it.
PROGRAM PURPOSE
This continuing education program is designed for healthcare professionals working in critical care settings. The program aims to provide attendees with the latest updates and advancements in critical care, enhancing their clinical skills and knowledge to optimize patient outcomes. Through a combination of lectures, case studies, and discussion with faculty/peers, attendees will learn about the latest evidence-based guidelines and best practices for managing critically ill patients.
OBJECTIVES
Bolster knowledge, competence, and utilization of the most recent evidence-based critical care clinical practice guidelines.
Expand competence in the management of patients with complex comorbidities and less common medical conditions, thereby improving patient outcomes and safety.
Improve skills/strategies in managing mechanical ventilation for patients with complex respiratory conditions.
Increase knowledge and competence in effectively interpreting and applying hemodynamic monitoring data to guide patient care.
Enhance ability to analyze complex situations from an ethical and legal perspective, protecting both patients and healthcare providers.
Refine and strengthen competence in the prevention and management of common complications in critically ill patients.
Strengthen and augment ability to apply and interpret diagnostic testing/imaging used in critical care.
Augment recognition and coping strategies to mitigate the effects of workplace stressors and burnout and achieve wellbeing in the clinical setting.

SCHEDULE AND FACULTY CHANGES
Factors beyond our control sometimes necessitate changes in the schedule and faculty. If time permits, we will inform all registrants of any changes prior to the program. Changes on site due to local conditions will be announced in class.
COURSE CANCELLATION BY PROVIDER
We reserve the right to cancel a course for any reason. In such case, a minimum of days notice will be given to those registered and 100% of tuition paid will be refunded. NWAS/NWS and NWWT will not be responsible for any non-refundable airfare, hotel, or other liabilities you may incur. We highly recommend purchase of travel insurance. Travel at your own risk.
COURSE CANCELLATION POLICY
No penalty if canceled by August 2, 2025. Cancellations between August 3, 2025, and September 2, 2025, incur a $100 fee. Cancellations after September 2, 2025, are not eligible for a refund. However, 50% of the tuition paid can be applied toward tuition for another NWS/NWAS program within the next 12 months. Cancellation must be made in writing. No tuition credit or refund will be issued for attendees that are no-shows for the program.
