The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian is a premier destination for Las Vegas luxury shopping, featuring over 160 signature stores with dozens of luxury brands. Cobblestone walkways are canopied with illuminated painted ceilings of clouds drifting by on a blue sky as if you are strolling the piazza in Venice. The Grand Canal travels through the center of the Shoppes for a quarter mile inviting passersby to a gondola voyage after a much deserved day of retail therapy. As an added bonus, at The Venetian you are never far from a good meal as there are over 40 dining options with diverse selection of culinary offerings to choose from.
Suites at The Venetian Resort Resort are a nod to Italian opulence, featuring 1 King or 2 queen beds (based on hotel availability), luxury bedding, separated living space, oversized bathrooms with Roman tub and separate shower, multiple flat screen TVs, desk, safe, fully stocked refreshment center and more.
The Venetian Resort is located approximately 3.7 miles from the Las Vegas Airport (LAS). PARKING: Self parking for registered hotel guests is $18/day, seven days a week. For non-hotel guests, self parking is $18/day, Monday – Thursday, and $23/day Friday – Sunday. Valet parking is $40/day. Event parking rates may be in effect and parking fees are subject to change; check posted signage for additional details.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is designed for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and all other medical care providers who must maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of the critical care specialty or are impacted by it.
PROGRAM PURPOSE
This continuing education program is designed for healthcare professionals working in critical care settings. The program aims to provide attendees with the latest updates and advancements in critical care, enhancing their clinical skills and knowledge to optimize patient outcomes. Through a combination of lectures, case studies, and discussion with faculty/peers, attendees will learn about the latest evidence-based guidelines and best practices for managing critically ill patients.
OBJECTIVES
Bolster knowledge, competence, and utilization of the most recent evidence-based critical care clinical practice guidelines.
Expand competence in the management of patients with complex comorbidities and less common medical conditions, thereby improving patient outcomes and safety.
Improve skills/strategies in managing mechanical ventilation for patients with complex respiratory conditions.
Increase knowledge and competence in effectively interpreting and applying hemodynamic monitoring data to guide patient care.
Enhance ability to analyze complex situations from an ethical and legal perspective, protecting both patients and healthcare providers.
Refine and strengthen competence in the prevention and management of common complications in critically ill patients.
Strengthen and augment ability to apply and interpret diagnostic testing/imaging used in critical care.
Augment recognition and coping strategies to mitigate the effects of workplace stressors and burnout and achieve wellbeing in the clinical setting.

SCHEDULE AND FACULTY CHANGES
Factors beyond our control sometimes necessitate changes in the schedule and faculty. If time permits, we will inform all registrants of any changes prior to the program. Changes on site due to local conditions will be announced in class.
COURSE CANCELLATION BY PROVIDER
We reserve the right to cancel a course for any reason. In such case, a minimum of days notice will be given to those registered and 100% of tuition paid will be refunded. NWAS/NWS and NWWT will not be responsible for any non-refundable airfare, hotel, or other liabilities you may incur. We highly recommend purchase of travel insurance. Travel at your own risk.
COURSE CANCELLATION POLICY
No penalty if canceled by July 22, 2025. Cancellations between July 23, 2025, and August 22, 2025, incur a $100 fee. Cancellations after August 22, 2025, are not eligible for a refund. However, 50% of the tuition paid can be applied toward tuition for another NWS/NWAS program within the next 12 months. Cancellation must be made in writing. No tuition credit or refund will be issued for attendees that are no-shows for the program.
